It was moving back and forth in the riffles. It was pretty hefty. I played that bass for a while, it came to a point when I began fighting the fish. Eventually, the knot came undone. If I had a larger rod, I probably could've pulled it out of the riffles. That bass shook and shook and tore upstream. I had the same thing to happen to one of my rods some years back and I was never able to get to the tip to stay in place. Glad you all are getting the rain.
