Why can't we stock these so called "fragile" streams with some bass? Lord knows some of those fish swim out of the lakes anyways. If I have another day like today, I just may sell all my stuff and get out of it. Our Ozark streams are falling apart. Progress is polluting . . . that and last year's drought dried up so many lakes and streams.
Note to self - GET A LIFE.
Sounds like you encountered a skunk today. Maybe you're just getting the it out of the way early for 2011. Things will get better as temps warm up consistently for spring.

ReplyDeleteTake heart, better days are coming in March, and it gets even better through June. I am talking about hitting some of the those lakes you got near you. Fish them early in the morning and at dust with poppers, and you will have success. Leave the tailrace to get juiced up on the lakes. I fish our local lake much more than I do the tailrace.
