ReplyDeleteSome great articles in So Much Water Magazine, really enjoyed the read on Smallies---fishing for smallmouth is a blast on the fly rod. I have landed a lot of Spotted Bass on Smith Lake using the fly rod. I like to compare the fight of the smallmouth with the fight of the spotted bass. I will have the opportunity this spring to fish for the spotted bass and smallmouth on one of the Tennessee lakes, can't wait for that outing. I just subscribed to Much Water, thanks for the info.

ReplyDeleteJust got info that the access on "that creek" in MO is wadeable - especially with the water being low right now. I it was a month later, I would check it out. Which I probably will anyways - about an hour or so from the house.
